Grounds Maintenance Officer

Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Grounds Maintenance Officer for a full-time ongoing position commencing from March 2026. Qualifications and/or previous experience in grounds maintenance and/or horticulture will be considered desirable but not essential in this role.

The key role of the Grounds Maintenance Officer is to facilitate the upkeep of the Central Hospitality Groups assets. The position requires a high attention to detail and the capacity to work autonomously to complete required tasks in a timely and efficient manner. The role is required to work across multiple sites including

  • The Pavillion Event Centre
  • CH Boutique Hotel
  • CH Boutique Apartments Ringers Road
  • Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar
  • The Pig & Tinder Box
  • The Bureau CafĂ©
  • Dungowan Brewery

A current driver's licence is essential for travel between the multiple work sites.

The Grounds Maintenance Officer will primarily be responsible for the following day-to-day ground maintenance duties, including but not limited to:

  • Planting
  • Pruning
  • Mowing / brush cutting
  • Pest and disease identification and management
  • Irrigation management
  • Weeding
  • Additional small maintenance activities

The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for working outdoors and in an autonomous situation.
